Butterball

Hello again!
Today I will be sharing you my experience with lush's butterball (which may I add is extremely affordable) as part of my 'lush bath bombs' series kind of thing. As I explained in my previous post about the magical frozen bath bomb it is always good to find out if the product you are thinking about buying is actually any good or if it is just a pile of rubbish!
This is what the butterball originally looks like (excuse the random blue marks from other bath bombs). The bath bomb itself looks plane, smells plane and is over all very simple at first sight. It also says 'lush' on it :). Ps: I am wearing Tanya Burr's 'mini marshmallows' on my nails (it is a perfect colour for school if you aren't allowed to wear nail varnish'.

When the bath bomb plunges into water, lots of tiny pieces of scented moistoriser (at least that's what I think it is) swim in the water from all directions. The colour remains white but the smell gives a spa like and relaxing feel. This helps you de-stress and chill out...

When the bath bomb has finished fizzing and bobbing around the warm and relaxing water it looks like this image below. Although you can't see them, there are tiny specs of golden glitter running throughout the water. I absolutely love this touch of glitz because when you get out the bath your skin looks glowy and beautiful! Also I found this bath bomb left a thick layer of moister on my skin making it feels AMAZING and soft! 

                                                         

So I would definately repurchase the butterball as it gives amazing results and is at the affordable price of £2.65 (it's like I'm trying to sell it to you haha).  So I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post! Lush frozen bath bomb

Hello again!

I don't know about you but I love buying a a really bright and glittery bath bomb and seeing the multiple colours and patterns fizz away in my bath whilst my nose is being pampered with all sorts of  fresh and fruity scents! But, I can never decide which bath bomb I think that I will enjoy most. So I will be doing a few posts showing you the exciting explosions which a few of my chosen bath bombs make. This way you can see if the bath bomb you were thinking about getting is any good. The first bath bomb I will be showing you is the new frozen bath bomb.

The frozen bath bomb is available from all lushes (I think) and it is a very light turquoise blue with a darker turquoise  blue swirl surrounding it. It is also got lots of specs of GLITTER in it!!

I wasn't too keen on the smell but it was quite nice. When I plopped the bomb into the bath it created an immediate turquoise, glittery explosion (which i watched every second of because I have nothing better to do with my time). As the bomb fizzed the dark swirl created such a pretty pattern!

When my bath had finished my bath was the same turquoise blue colour with a few clouds of white and my bath was filled with glitter! This definately reminded me of frozen!

So if you love frozen as much as me ( my little sister literally watches it everyday) or you just love having a good old pamper night then definately check out the frozen bath bomb!

Robin Hoods Bay

Hello again!
A few days ago I went on a road trip to Robin Hoods Bay as I have been there a few times before and absolutely love it! So, I thought that I would share with you some pictures and things to do there if you ever get the chance to go there.
One of the things I love about this place is that it is so dog friendly! I was able to bring my two dogs along and they made so many friends! Dogs are also aloud onto the beach which is amazing because let's be honest, what is better than paddling in the sea, eating an ice cream and being surrounded by cute dogs all at the same time?

I obviously had to get an ice cream whilst I was there! I did have a flake but I could resist eating whilst taking a picture :)

Another thing I love about this place is that there are so many cute shops, houses and cafes stuffed I to every nut and cranny. I love looking around all the little shops and browsing through all the unique bits and bobs that are sold.

Natural make up for school

Hello again!
School. What a horrible word! I think we have all experienced the sound of that dreaded alarm clock screaming down your eye at half six in the morning and the feeling of sadness sinking into your body as you realise that it is infact Monday morning and not the much loved Saturday morning which always flys by. School is a slog, a pain and very hard at times but we all have to face it! So, here is a guide to looking fresh faced and glowy in the morning when in reality I'm sure you would rather be in bed, asleep, dreaming of Your celebrity crush (Jaden Smith, Joe Sugg) whisking you away to your dream destination!
First of all you will need a primer of some sort as sadly we will be spending a lot of our day trapped in this form of prison so you need your make up to last all day! I used a pea sized amount of the porefessional by benefit and spread it across my T zone area where I get very very oily.

Now that your face is all primed up and ready to go you need to use a concealor to correct and brighten areas of your face. This will make you feel all fresh and new :) The concealor I used is the rimmel wake me up concealor in shade 1 Ivory (yes I am so pale that I hve to get the fairest shade in the collection). I love this concealor because it contains tiny specs of shimmer to make you look dewy and it is very light so won't feel heavy on your face all day.

Here's me looking like 101 Dalmatians because I have so much discolouration haha!

Under my eyes I use the Mac select cover up instead because I feel like it does a better job at highlighting my under eye area. After you have done this it is now time to powder with my trusty rimmel stay mattr powder to keep the oil away for as long as possible...

Base done, and it only took two minutes! Now to sort out the rest of my face before I get to school late because I put my alarm clock on snooze about ten times (we've all been there).

I am a lover of strong brows and to achieve them I use the archery brow pen by soap and glory in the shade brownie points. First I heavily fill in the ends of my brows according to their natural shape.

I then drag the colour further forwards by drawing small horizontal lines across the brow.

Gently I draw slightly slanted vertical lines throughout the front of my brow pulling it further forward than it naturally is to create a stronger brow.

I then draw two faint lines across the bottom of my brow. Ta daa!

To define the brows even more I put a dot of Mac select cover up below and above each brow.

This simple step just adds a little more definition and goes a long way. 

I then bronze with the hooks bronzer to add warmth and depth to my face because I find that if I just have concealor and powder on, my face can look rather flat and pale. I apply this the area below my cheekbones and any other areas where the sun naturally hits such as my forged, nose and temples. 

  

  

I then apply some highlighter to add dew nines to the skin, this makes me appear more awake when I am most definately not! 

I also apply this down the centre of my nose to try and slim my nose.

This is the finished makeup look!

Also, for those who prefer to wear mascara to school I have seen a lot of people been caught for mascara so instead you could find a very very natural mascara, just curl your lashes or wear clear mascara. Welcome to my blog! I can't believe that I am actually saying that...
I have wanted to start a blog ever since I started to become extremely interested in all things beauty and since I have been reading other people's blogs such as Tanya Burr, Zoella, Sprinkle of Glitter, Niomi Smart, Lily Pebbles and Hello October ( I definitely recommend giving these amazing blogs a read!). As well as being a complete beauty addict I also have a big interest in writing, so these two things go hand in hand. So, I would love it if you joined me in exploring everything to do with beauty, lifestyle and fashion! Let me know if you have any advice for someone starting out in the blogging world as I would love some tips and tricks to help me get started :)
